It is a pleasure to provide this reference on behalf of John Stevenson, Stenik Construction Pty Ltd. I came to know John and observe his many capabilities when I was president of New Brighton Golf Club, where John was for the past four years the General Manager reporting to the Board of Directors. Over the period I was President of the Club and Chairman of the Board.

During that time as General Manager, John not only effectively managed the many club activities, he also project managed the renovation of the Clubhouse. The construction cost for these renovations totaled just under $1million.

The project management was virtually a turn key operation. John was responsible for the original design concept, obtaining council and government agency approvals, construction management including the sourcing and site management of contractors to commissioning the building. The outcome for the club was outstanding with the project completed within a defined budget and within the agreed time frame. During the project John demonstrated outstanding building and construction knowledge, as well as leadership skill in ensuring quality outcomes were achieved.
